Best ATI driver for htpc use for HD OTA and BD playback

      So this weekend I’m replacing my Sapphire HD 2600xt with a Sapphire HD 4670, and my e2200 cpu with an e8400, running VMC as front end.

      What is considered the best ATI driver for htpc today. I think I stayed at 8.4, any reason to move up?

      As a side note, building a gaming rig for my son with the replaced parts, also on Vista Home Premium 32bit, he’s mostly just into WoW for now, does any ATI driver excel for gaming. He has a 19″ lcd, but may use the 52″ Plasma in the den from time to time.
