I have a few questions regarding OTA HD and using my HTPC. I’m hoping someone can provide some info. I’m a noobie when it comes to ota.
If I want to get OTA HD, am I correct in assuming I only need something like the DVICO FusionHDTV7 Cool or FusionHDTV5 Gold? Can I use any of their cards to capture ota HD or do I need to get specific ones? I’m in Canada so I know I need ATSC.
As well I know I need rabbit ears, but is it possible to get a cable that goes from the rabbit ears to the Fusion that is about 15ft? What kind of cable does one use for that?
With the capture card can I actually record programs to the hard drive or do I need something else such as a secondary capture card?
Lastly, if I want Digital Cable and HD Cable do I need to install two cards and two antennas?
