I want to control certain applications on Windows XP such as Zoom Player , Xlobby or WMP with my Samsung [b]TV remote[/b]. I don’t want to use multiple remotes and I am not trying to control other devices. My PC sits close to the TV and it is connected via HDMI.
Should I go with USB-UIRT, should I just get a Hauppauge with IR or what other alternatives are out there? And what are the pros and cons of going with a specific solution.
