Lezyne Tubeless Tire Repair Kit

I was quite excited about the potential after stumbling across the Lezyne Tubeless Repair Kit. Price was right, and if it worked would have been just the thing to sit in the space between sealant-does-its-thing, and put-in-a-tube. Unfortunately, that turned out to not be the case.
That kind of sucks.
I always keep gloves in the saddle bag, just in case I need to mess with the chain (break or whatever).
Simple dollar bill can be used as a boot – just fold it over really well. Keeps the tube from sneaking out.
Good tip. I always carry a $20 in the bag just in case. More for emergency coffee/beer than as a boot though :).
Usually use a small ziplock and throw in $$$, a bank card, and insurance card. Ziplock keeps them from getting wet in my back jersey pocket. My saddlebag is stuffed – I must be a hoarder.
Insurance card?
Medical insurance. I get hit and that way the card is on me when they scoop me off the road.
Ah, that is smart. My wife makes me wear a Road ID for that sort of thing, but I guess the insurance card would be useful as well.
I’ve seen those and have yet to pull the trigger. I suspect my wife will just want me chipped like they do for pets 🙂
