I used the Sewell one and it worked great.http://missingremote.com/review/sewell-injectir-ir-over-hdmi-remote-extender

Monoprice’s looks half the price and looks similar, and they’re normally pretty good with their brand named products

HDBaseT extender and receiver would work great. How far?

I have an extra HDMI+IR over 2 Cat5 cables kit. It works really well. I’m running my living room TV on an Xbox 360 extender located in my laundry room. I bought another one for another Xbox I had to control the TV in my garage, but I never really used it so I sold the Xbox.

Let me know if you’re interested. It can do 1080p at 40m (~130ft)
