I didn't vote as I have no idea what size the 2010 Mac mini (the latest with HDMI port) corresponds.
I voted for ATX Tower/Desktop Case, but it is actually in my basement with cables running up to my tv.
I wouldn't ever actually put my current case in my AV stack out in the open
Just added proprietary for things like Mac mini.
as long as it's connected to your display as yours is, then that works!
And looks like another moderator beat me to adding Mac Mini up there!
ive got an NSK2480. its still obviously a computer but it doesnt look out of place next to my receiver and cable box.
at some point I will end up with a bedroom tv again and I definitely will want something small that can mount to the back of a the television and stay out of the way.
and so I voted
Silverstone LC-17, ATX-HTPC.
I have most of the various Antec cases. NSK-2400 and Fusion BlacK 430 for frontends, P180 for server. It's not that I'm an Antec fanboy it's just that when I bought the cases these were the ones to get.
I'm all extender now, but when I did I loved my Shuttle XPC. Thought it was a great compromise between case size, aesthetics, and expandability.
I use a nMEDIAPC 8000 for my main HTPC with a full ATX MB.
Truth be told, all of my displays have an HD-200 attached, but the computer it all runs on is a Silverstone Micro-ATX
I am using an older moneual case that kinda ticks me off.
It is full size atx except for the height, which is about a half
inch shorter than is required to use an atx power supply.
It came with a miniatx supply and those are about impossible to find.
I rigged a microatx supply in there.
If you want your system to double as a gaming machine, make
sure it can accept a full size atx power supply.
