Argosy HV676 MediaPlay USB HD Media Player

I've not heard of Argosvy, and considering this box doesn't support HD....well, it's just odd. But anyhow, a review for your reading pleasure.

 

A small plastic scratch tape goes across the front and around the sides of the unit, as well as a large one across the top that is almost missable. The back is uncovered, and looking at it you can see coax, AV & component out, HDMI out and DC in.. There is also an ethernet-shaped cutout, but there is nothing behind it. The device doesn’t support networking, though it looks like it was originally intended to and the feature was never implemented. Instead, you have a funny looking non-port on the back. The rear USB is the same.
