ESPN to Present All Major League Soccer Matches In High Definition

I actually think this is as good news as the signing of Beckham for MLS. I know plenty of people that are so enamored with their HDTV that they'll watch basically anything as long as it's in HD. Maybe this will help boost the MLS market share just a tiny bit (not like it could get smaller).

Paddock TalkÂ ESPN will present all Major League Soccer matches in high definition beginning with the Saturday, April 7 season-opener â€“ D.C. United at Colorado Rapids â€“ on ABC HD at 3:30 p.m. ET; and the first telecast of ESPN2â€™s new MLS Primetime Thursday April 12 at 10 p.m. featuring FC Dallas at the Los Angeles Galaxy. This will mark the first season in ESPNâ€™s Major League Soccer (MLS) history that all matches will be presented in high definition.
