Hey now, as much as I enjoyed reading that, it's old news now.  You should be letting that slide down the front page, not hogging the top spot!   Grin  I actually thought no news had been added the first time I visited today!

I think the Blogs/Reviews/Guides/etc stay at the top for the entire day they are added. It will probably start to slide down tommorrow.

I assume it's more like 24 hours after they're posted, considering that one's dated the 28th?   Tongue

What's that you say?  It's YOUR site and you'll do whatever you damn well please?  Oh, well, I suppose that's fair and true enough!   Grin

There needs to be a better way to distinguish these posts from the other posts. I too sometimes get fooled into thinking there's no new news when in fact there is and it's just below the feature.

I think jennyfur is on to something.  Maybe some color or borders would help to differentiate them from the news.  It would also help to bring attention to site-featured content.  Which is a great segue into whether you might need a new name for the this content area.  What about "Feature Presentations", like theaters do?

I agree Smiley. We just haven't figured that out yet Smiley And speaking of that.. Our current design is a little limited.. I have to manually keep the "features" up top and I forget sometimes and then bump them back up a few hours later..

We will figure something out Smiley. As always.. suggestions are appreciated.. and if you are a joomla developer and work for cheap.. PM Me Wink

Alan:  You're doing a great job!  Keep it up!  [me] closes mouth [/me]   Wink

In all seriousness, the site isn't even a year old yet, so I think you guys are doing a really good job.  It's real easy for us to say "add a little color here" or "put a border there", but if the code doesn't easily allow that, it makes it very tough.  We're a patient lot and enjoy coming here, so I think we'll put up with the less-than-perfect decor for a while.   Wink
