This is where IPTV needs to head to be successful. Why bother installing a STB in my house if it is the same as cable. Sport's lounge brings a level of interactivity that could be used across the board. Cooking shows, other sports, music (imagine a channel with actual music videos and content about the artist) and other formats that elude me this late at night (maybe trivia).

Its time to stop think of the HTPC as a PC and time to start thinking of it as an interactive environement to extend the entertainment experience. Mike's fantasy footbal suggestion was spot on.

Can the games be watched in full screen (i.e. is the ticker always there?)?  I think it might get annoying if it is always there.  I would love to just hit a button and have the ticker appear.

no, it's not an overlay to ur full screen (which would have been nice), you have to be in the Vista Sports environment, and then you see the game or whatever ur watching in the middle, with the ticker at the top & bottom. But it is as simple as just hitting back to get back to it if u click to make it full screen.

I'm not sure it's meant to replace ESPN's ticker, but it's great if another person is watching something & u just want to check the scores without interrupting them
