Webguide for media centre

I would be interested to know if there is any continued interest in this application because I have run into some errors which I would appreciate some help on if possible.

I have a laptop in one room on which I am running Windows xp pro. I want to log onto webguide and be able to use the remote settings and 'play on tv' button so that I can select tracks and create play lists to play on my vista laptop which is attached to my theatre surround in another room.

Play on TV button error message:

'There was a problem connecting to the media centre webguide control add-in. Restarting media centre may fix this issue. Failed to connect to an IPC port. The systen cannot find the file specified.'

Remote symbol error message:

The error message is the same as above.

I have searched endlessley for solutions but they keep forwarding me to the original website which of course doesn't exist anymore.

I really would appreciate some assistance!
