I'd love to have that Sony but my es-555 has no highend what so ever. If I update I will go with Denon next time around.

Does anyone have ideas on why receivers of this price range or for that manner ALL receivers do not have the new HD Digital radio receivers built in. Every major city now has many many new HD FM Digital broadcasts. I live in a relative small midwestern city of 400,000 and every FM station here is broadcasting in HD Digital along side their usual FM. But very few of the new receivers have a recever in them.
Are these XM and Sirius folks PAYING the manus to put in theirs.?/
And how long do you all think it will be before the sat networks finally go belly up.?? The have never made a dime, and likely never will, even if they merge.

I've been wondering this for about a year now. Must be that the hardware is still too pricey.
lol Al your still a sony fanboi....Yamaha...Harmon Kardon, Marantz, Onkyo and Denon are all top notch eciever for the money and a bit better in the sound quality depo
