Sony LCD TVs at Walmart/Target

It's just like people that buy a Lexus because it's a Lexus when a Hundai is just as good and $30K less.

HTPC: SageTV HD-300

My experience with Sony TVs have been VERY positive so far. As much as people bag on sony, I actually think they put out quality hardware. The problem they have is getting the software/firmware to match. I am not a review expert by any stretch when it comes to TVs but I think they are worth a price premium over something like my 27" cheapy LCD. That said, I think a lot of their products are over priced and do not offer much over other products.

That's really a key point about Sony.  They sell both good (expensive) and bad (cheap) equipment.  Unfortunately a lot of consumers can't tell the difference.
