June 1st Blu-ray Releases

As good as some of these are, including Clint Eastwood's numerous films, my vote goes for the release you missed (and I added).  Wink

Heartbreak Ridge

Perhaps my very favorite "boot camp" movie, right up there with Full Metal Jacket.  I don't know if this movie needs the "**" designation, however.

Just so I don't set the expectations incorrectly, Heartbreak Ridge is no Full Metal Jacket.  It's a FUN movie to watch and Eastwood definitely carries the movie.  I like FMJ for a completely different reason than I like Heartbreak Ridge.

My favorite Eastwood movie is Any Which Way You Can.  I like Every Which Way But Loose, but AWWYC has more of a build up to the end, and I like it when everyone starts scrambling to watch the fight.

I have to go with High Plains Drifter, although it's close b/w that and the Dollars Trilogy.

Dollars Trilogy myself though some of his recent films I consider "classic" Eastwood already.
