iTV becomes Apple TV

What a big disappointment.  Without a tuner or a way to get tv content (client/server model), this is nothing more than an overpriced hauppauge media mvp.  I have read a number of articles about which will win the war for our living room: Microsoft, Cisco, or Apple.  This clearly rules Apple out.

IMO, it still wide open.. No one has proved they are ready to enter the market.. MS has the pieces... but have a 2 year old putting them together... Apple has most of the pieces but has a fashion diva trying to make the puzzle pieces into a sculpture... Sage has 8 of a 100 pieces (the most functional pieces) and forget to paint the pieces... Beyond TV made a beautiful puzzle, easy to put together, but forgot to include the rest of the pieces in the box.. MythTV.. I couldn't figure out how to open the box for the puzzle... Sony's pieces don't fit together and the cussed me out for suggesting thats not a feature..

While the AppleTV isn't for me, I'm still open to the idea of more companies pushing this type of device on to the market. Eventually someone will get it right Smile

i agree with Naylia, the beauty of cr*p like this, is that it makes people take a refresh on these devices, and can point out what Apple does wrong/right, and then improve upon them.

but yeah, I aint about to spend $299 on this garbage Smile
