Hmm, well I suppose if it networked with a server and I could stream DVD's then yes. My biggest issue with the client/server setup has always been that storage of DVD's and playing on my XBOX 360 as an extender doesn't work. I have over 600 movies and I'll be damned if I have to go through them one by one instead of just doing a search on my MCE.

I'm surprised there isn't a workaround for this somewhere.

Besides this, I also like owning my own equipment when possible. I wouldn't trade in my machine for one from COX.

Maybe I need to install a 120 volt loop under his chair that goes off prior to each post reminding him to click the spell check button.  Or.....  Maybe there is a keyboard available that automatically corrects spelling as the user types.  That would be handy.  I bet we could come up with some good examples of "assistive" tools.

Maybe he's in the Middle East?

It's great to see SPCR do a review on the GP drives from WD.

Quote:
It's the quietest desktop drive we've ever tested. It's the most efficient drive we've ever tested. And it comes in capacities up to 1 TB. What more do you want? As far as SPCR is concerned, this could be the perfect drive — at least until flash media takes over.

Or maybe he just needs to use Firefox. Problem solved (unless he chooses to ignore the big red underlined misspelled words still!).  Wink

Hmmmm....  Maybe we need to switch to Swahili instead of this overly complex English language.
