I have changed scope so many times

That's probably the issue and highlights what I've been saying for a while now:  Release smaller, very specifically focused guides.

Think back to writing term papers.  What did you have to do?  Pick A topic and stick to it, without rambling on or getting too far off the main point of the paper.  Same thing applies here.

Alan, there's no doubt you know how to put together great articles.  If you didn't, we wouldn't constantly be asking for you to write more!!!  ;D  But, you have to remain focused.  It's tough when you have so many ideas and you want to get them all out... but that's precisely why you have to narrow the articles focus and stick to it.  If you find that you'd like to cover something else while writing one article, make some notes and come back to it when the first one is complete.
