Can't remember if I bothered to watch the 2nd one. Watching the first one was one of those "too lazy to change the channel" moments a few years back, I had no intention of watching it and expected it to be pretty lame, but it was actually bearable.

My gf and I also watched the second half of Legally Blond the other night from bed...so I didn't actually PVR it.

I also have:
Desperate Housewives
Veronica Mars
Gilmore Girls
Grey's Anatomy

all set to record weekly...I'll even admit I enjoy them most of the time. They require almost zero brain activity Laughing out loud Oh and I caguht a couple episodes of My Super Sweer 16 last night.

I guess I'll have to go to the gym and work on the Guns (that's right, my Guns are so impressive that they are considered a proper noun) this afternoon to make up for my indiscretions...

My MythTV web interface is behind a firewall so you will _never_ know what my wife forces me to record (and sometimes watch) on a weekly basis.  Thank goodness for NASCAR, NFL, 24, Battlestar Galactica, and Stargate Atlantis.  Without those I fear my "manlyhood" would be in a jar on the shelf.

Yeah, Jesus dude.  That's pretty bad.  It makes me feel better about watching Real World, American Idol, and Hogan Knows Best though.  Wink

I was going to make a comment.. but I watch a lot of HGTV these days. You can't get much less manly then interior design.

Hey now, there's rock hauling, power tools, and plenty of demolition on HGTV. That's pretty tough stuff.

I will admit to trapping myself into watching ANTM: I say "trapping" because that is the program that I originally used to try and quickly escalate the WAF after building the Media Center. Unfortunately, it has now ensnared me in it's web.

It's testosterone-in' time...

Actually, come to think of it, I don't know of any "guilty pleasure" shows I have.  Unless you want to count something like Art Mann Presents or Bikini Destinations.  But, those are still shows for guys.  I used to watch wrestling, but grew tired of it.  Inside the Actor's Studio is pretty good, but not a regularly watched show.

What I do watch is:
Lost (quickly losing interest, though)
Psych
Jericho
Law & Order (all 3)
4400
BSG
Smallville
Rescue Me (not so much anymore)
Eureka
Heroes
Doctor Who
Torchwood (BBC show I have to Torrent)

Hey, me too!  I forgot about HGTV.  How embarassing it was the first time the wife walked in and saw me watching it without her in the room.  :-[

I record and watch:
Barney
Thomas the Train
Power Rangers (not limited to the newest version)
Batman (I actually like to watch this one, even with out my kid)
Grey's Anatomy
American Idol
30 minute meals (Rachel Ray is cute)
Everday Italian (even cuter)
The flicks that I record for myself:
BSG
Hero
SG 1
SG Atlantis
Down load a few podcast (Diggnation, DL.TV)

I watch:
Greys Anatomy
House
Lots of various HGTV shows
American Idol (I like the initial weedout shows)

DVR:
Gilmore Girls
Monk
Jake 2.0

And I would hardly call what they do on HGTV-ish shows "interior design"...  Most "designers" make me want to vomit...  But that's me.  I do get some good ideas for other stuff though.

And I watched Hidden Spaces this week (I think that was on HGTV) and that was a cool show.  They look at peoples houses for the hidden rooms, secret passageways, that sort of thing.  Fun to watch since I have always wanted something like that. Smile
